A Shiny New Website! Now What?

I've secured my own domain name (luckily there weren't too many Jerry Kiesewetters to fight me for it), and now I have my own website, and blog. YIPPEE!

Well, this was two years ago, and I've finally decided that 2014 will be the year that I decide exactly what to do with this shiny, new space.

The website will be a place for me to showcase the best of my photography from a variety of genres. It will serve as my public portfolio and online resume. It's main function is to get me more work, and help me pay some of these bills. I plan on keeping the layout clean, simple and functional, allowing easy navigation for anyone who is gracious enough to visit. I will provide all of my clients with private, password-protected galleries where they can view images from their photo sessions, and purchase high-quality photos in a wide range of sizes and formats, from the industries top professional color labs.

The blog, on the other hand, will be a place that's aimed at creating a more fun, interactive, and informative experience. I want to use the blog to share some of my favorite photos, interesting stories about what's happening in my world, as well as informative posts and articles that might help you on your own artistic journey. I want to share the works of other local artists, and lend them a hand in getting their work in front of as many eyeballs as possible.

Thanks very much for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you :)
